Cute Baby Cakes

Christina D. from Sonoma, California submitted these unique baby cakes that welcomed her nephew.

She'll tell you how she made these:

I baked a half sheet cake & cut the letters "J", "E", and "Y" out.

I also used Wiltons small sports ball pan for the "O/Baby Head".

After cutting-out the layers, you will have to give them a thick crumb coat to seal the sides before you decorate.

I just used a star tip to cover the baby's head, and used water crackers for the ears, covered those, and purchased funnel cleaners for the hair & a real pacifier.

Everyone loved the cake & it was so much fun! It was for my nephew, Joey!
