Another baby shower cake contest has ended! Please come and vote for your favorite cake . The winner of the poll will receive the People's Choice Award.

What is in store for 2009? There will for sure be another baby shower cake contest, and I will be accepting entries as early as January 1st, 2009. The following is what the contest rules will be similar to...

This is a really fun way to share your best baby shower cake ideas with your friendly web neighbors so they can find great cakes that fit their party (without the need to buy recipes or pay for any ideas.)

I am offering great prizes:

Grand Prize: $50 Visa Gift Card
1st Place: $25 Visa Gift Card
People's Choice Award: $25 Visa Gift Card

Each cake you submit will be placed on its own web page for you to be proud of.

Diaper cakes, sandwiches, etc. are also welcome!

Guidelines for Submission:

1) You may submit as many cake photos as you'd like. You could send a series of photos that show the progression of the cake.

2) Each entry must be of cakes that you or a family member created (not purchased). Otherwise I cannot accept your entry into the baby shower cake pictures contest.

3) Include preparation tips. When describing your cake please be as detailed as possible. Tell us about materials/ingredients needed, preparation steps, and any info that will make it possible for people to reproduce your masterpiece. Your tips are VERY important. They will be part of the judging criteria.

4) Send the highest quality baby cake picture that you have in JPG or GIF file formats.

5) The contest deadline is August 31, 2008. Voting for the People's Choice Award will be made available September 1, 2008. Voting will last until September 14. Winners will be announced September 15, 2008.
