I baked a 9 x 13 rectangle cake and 1/2 of the Wilton ball pan to make to belly bump as well as 2 of the Wilton mini-wonder pans to make the breast. After all of the cakes have completely cooled, I iced the rectangle cake with buttercream icing until covered well and smooth. Before the icing dried, I positioned the round cakes in the center on the rectangle cake to form the figure of a pregnant woman. I then iced the "bump" part of the cake and then covered with fondant.
I used a star tip to cover the breast and on the belly under the shirt. I made a bow out of fondant and place it on top of the belly and add accents to the shirt. I used a larger star tip to make the border. I took little plastic baby bottles to decorate the sides of the cake. Lastly, I wrote "Hello Mommy Goodbye Tummy" on the cake under the belly. This is one of my favorite cakes to make. It is a lot of fun and it is always a big hit at the shower. Submit your
