Baby Shower Cookies

Give these baby shower cookies a try. They're my personal favorites.

Tara's Favorite Cookies (Oatmeal, Raisin, Chocolate Chip)

1 C. Butter
1 C. Brown Sugar
1 C. White Sugar
2 eggs
1 ½ tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 tsp. Baking Soda
2 C. Flour
2 ½ C. Rolled Oats
1 C. Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
½ C. Raisins

Combine ingredients in the order listed. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F for about 10 minutes. Watch them closely, they should be very soft.

Butterscotch and White Chip Baby Shower Cookies ;-)

3 C. Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Salt
1 C. Margarine
1 1/3 C. White Sugar
2/3 C. Brown Sugar, Firmly Packed
2 tsp. Vanilla Extract
2 Extra Large Eggs
1 C. Butterscotch Chips
1 C. White Chocolate Chips

Combine without sifting, flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Cream margarine with sugars until light. Beat in vanilla and eggs until smooth. Beat dry ingredients into creamed mixture. Add chocolate chips and stir to mix well.
Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees F for 10-12 minutes. Remove them when they're just barely cooked all the way, then they'll be very soft!!

Peanut Butter Kiss Cookies
(Lanore C.)

1 Yellow Cake Mix
2 Eggs
1 Tbsp. Water
1 C. Peanut Butter
1/3 C. Oil
1 Hershey's Kiss for each cookie

Mix Ingredients. Form the dough into 1 inch balls and then roll them in sugar. Bake them at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Place chocolate kisses on cookies after they come out of the oven.
