Baby Shower Drink Page

Since you're deciding on a baby shower drink, here are some frozen drink recipes I would highly recommend.

Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie
1 Qt. (4 C.) Ripe Strawberries
1 C. Plain Low-fat Yogurt
1/2 C. Fresh Orange Juice
1 Tbsp. Sugar or to taste
A few ice cubes

Rinse strawberries, remove stems, and place in blender. Add other ingredients, blending 15 seconds at a time and scraping down the sides in between. Makes 4 servings. If you'd like to add a banana, increase the O.J. to 3/4 C.

Banana Slush
3 ripe bananas, crushed w/fork
2 small cans frozen orange juice concentrate
Pineapple juice to taste
2 C. Sugar
3 C. Water
Sprite or 7-up

Heat sugar and water to dissolve sugar, mix all ingredients, except soda; freeze in bread pans or shallow pans, stirring occassionally.
Break up frozen slush and fill glasses half-full. Pour soda over top of frozen slush and garnish with maraschino cherries.

Orange Julius
1 6 oz. Can Orange Juice Concentrate
1 C. Cold Milk
1 C. Cold Water
1/2 C. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
12 Ice Cubes

Combine ingredients in blender; blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
