Baby Shower Drink Page
Since you're deciding on a baby shower drink, here are some frozen drink recipes I would highly recommend.
Strawberry Yogurt Smoothie 1 Qt. (4 C.) Ripe Strawberries 1 C. Plain Low-fat Yogurt 1/2 C. Fresh Orange Juice 1 Tbsp. Sugar or to taste A few ice cubes Rinse strawberries, remove stems, and place in blender. Add other ingredients, blending 15 seconds at a time and scraping down the sides in between. Makes 4 servings. If you'd like to add a banana, increase the O.J. to 3/4 C.
Banana Slush 3 ripe bananas, crushed w/fork 2 small cans frozen orange juice concentrate Pineapple juice to taste 2 C. Sugar 3 C. Water Sprite or 7-up Heat sugar and water to dissolve sugar, mix all ingredients, except soda; freeze in bread pans or shallow pans, stirring occassionally. Break up frozen slush and fill glasses half-full. Pour soda over top of frozen slush and garnish with maraschino cherries.
Orange Julius 1 6 oz. Can Orange Juice Concentrate 1 C. Cold Milk 1 C. Cold Water 1/2 C. Sugar 1/2 tsp. Vanilla 12 Ice Cubes Combine ingredients in blender; blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
Frappe (LaRue L.) 2 ½ Gallon Sherbet of Any Flavor 1 ½ Gallon Vanilla Ice Cream 1 Tall Can Pineapple Juice 1 2 liter Sprite Whip with a mixer in a very large bowl. Transfer to a punch bowl to serve.
Raspberry/Pineapple/Banana Sorbet (Sharlene C.) This can be dropped into Sprite for a baby shower drink. Or eaten plain!! ½ Gallon Pineapple Sherbet 1 lb. Frozen Raspberries, Diced 3-4 Bananas, Diced
Soften pinapple sherbet slightly. Stir in raspberries and bananas and put in freezer.
