Flip Flop

Flip flops float. If you're planning on hosting the baby shower outdoors, fill up a kiddie pool with water.
It would be convenient if you own a few pairs of flips flops to decorate for your baby shower theme. For the game, you'll need enough for one flip flop for each guest. If you're like me, and don't wear flip flops, you can use the flip flops from the craft idea and dry them off really good when the game is over. Mark the back of one flip flop with permanent marker to indicate that it is the winning shoe. Float the flip flops and let each guest choose one. Winner gets a prize!
Decorating Flip Flops
Everyone will need their own pair of flip flops. Either ask guests to bring their own, or provide them with a new pair. Below is an invitation idea for a flip flop baby shower theme that includes wording in case you want guests to provide you with their sizes.
Flip flops are inexpensive, usually you can find a pair for $2. If you're worried about guests coming, choose a store that takes returns and keep the receipt.
