Creative Baby Shower Cake

I love this creative baby shower cake, submitted by Evelyn M. of Grove, California. Perfect for the little one on the way.

These are her instructions:

The flavor is Dark Chocolate. The outside was done in Fondant and Gumpaste.

The babies are molded and colored individually.

The flesh tone is light Pink w/ a hint of Brown. The cradle is Gumpastes, using a muffin cup to mold the buttom on the bassinet.

The Gold Balls are made of Fondant, then painted w/ gold paint made out of Gold Lustre Dust and Vodka.

The pan sizes, were 10 inch (bottom) and a small stainless bowl for the top.

Evelyn says she loves to use fondant, as it is easy to use, takes color well, and keeps a long time.
