Free Baby Shower Game Idea

I like to call this free baby shower game idea the candy bar match up.

We played this in celebration of my first baby girl.

It is like playing a memory game, however, this one is unique and great for a laugh.

An awesome ice breaker!!

1) Obtain a pack of 3x5 index cards (or baby dye cuts).
2) Write the candy bar (100 Grand, for example) on a card, and write its match on another (doctor bill).
3) Obtain candy bars for all of the items you would like.
Here are some suggestions:

Milk duds = Breastfeeding
Ring Pop = Pacifier
Jelly Bellies = Pregnant Belly
Life Savers = Epidural
Whoppers = Contractions
Good 'n Plenty = Pain Medication
Almond Joy = Baby
Score = Conception
Butterfinger = OB/GYN

You can be creative and come up with more that suit your particular baby shower.

2) The mom-to-be goes first, choosing two cards to see if they match.

3) Once a candy bar is correctly matched to its baby phrase, those two cards are removed and the player is rewarded with that candy bar.

4) The player then gets one more attempt to find a match and play resumes around the circle until all the candy bars have been matched.

*My neighbor informed me that this game can also be played on a poster, Concentration style.
