I went to my local craft store and purchased:
If you'd like to make my free baby shower invitation, keep reading for some simple instructions:
If $25 and 5 hours is too much for you, make the invitations using a computer program. A lot of office software has clipart that you can use and a function to make greeting cards. If you don't have a good software program to make invitations I recommend Invitation Maker .
1) Stamp a sheet of white paper with the "baby shower" stamp, or any saying of your chosing. Instead of cutting it out, tear it in a haphazard fashion. 2) Glue it onto a sheet of pastel pink card stock, and when it's dry, tear the paper (again, just improvise!) so that the saying is surrounded by pink. 3) Cut a sheet of white card stock in half (cut the long side). As you can see, this will make two invitations(when folded in half, they fit into invitation sized envelopes for mailing). 4) Proceed to fold them in half, to give you a guide on where to place everything. Glue your "baby shower" saying onto the middle of what will be the front of your card on a slight slant. 5)Punch holes for two eyelets on the lower right hand corner of the front(you'll thread your fibers through them, so space them about an inch to an inch and a half apart) and set your eyelets into the holes. 6)Thread a fiber (or ribbon) through the eyelets and tie it into a bow. 7) Open the invitation and use a colored pencil to make small squiggly lines to add some flair! I also did it to the front of my homemade invitation. 8)Use your black felt-tipped pen to invite your party guests. If you think making your invitations isn't for you, I have created a large selection of
